Ohio Benefit Bank

There is a representative from the Ohio Benefit Bank at the library the last Thursday of every month (except for tax season - January through April) to assist those who are inquiring about their eligibility for social services and benefits.  The representative is at the library from noon to 3pm, and consultations take place in the privacy of the Byers Local History Room.  Please check the Event Calendar for exact dates and times.  One-hour appointments with the Benefit Bank representative can be made by calling the library at 419-994-5531, but walk-ins are also welcome.

The Benefit Bank representative, if you are eligible, will link you with the appropriate social service agencies and case workers so that you can begin the process of applying for, and possibly receiving, a variety of services and benefits that can assist you and your family.  Below is a list of the programs and services that the Benefit Bank can help you with.

  • Child Care Subsidies
  • USDA Child Nutrition Programs
