Computer Classes

The library regularly offers computer classes that are designed to help patrons of varying skill levels.  Computer Basics classes, performed in conjunction with the Connect Ohio project, help to familiarize participants with the components of a computer, provide instructions on how to operate a mouse and keyboard, and generally assist those interested in beginning to use technology.  Other classes are offered that enhance skills with e-mail, navigating the Internet, and specific software programs like those in the Microsoft Office package.  Please check the Event Calendar for specific dates and times for the classes and be sure to use the library in between classes to brush up on your skills by utilizing the library's free wireless Internet access and abundant public computers.

Computer classes generally take place in one of the library's meeting rooms in the lower-level.  A set of fifteen laptop computers, acquired through a grant from the Ashland County Community Foundation and with assistance from the Hugo & Mabel Young Foundation, are used to set up a temporary lab for the classes.  Please contact Colleen Sandusky (sandusco@loudonvillelibrary.org), Network Administrator, with any questions.
