Friends of the Loudonville Public Library

The Friends of the Loudonville Public Library was established in May 1972 by Dr. L. Eugene Byers who was then president of the Loudonville Public Library Board of Trustees. Originally, the Friends group was focused on finding a permanent home for the library.

Currently, the Friends organization raises money through fundraisers such as musical programs, bake sales, luncheons, and book sales.  Funds from these events help to support programs and services like the annual Summer Reading Program and to assist in the purchase of supplies, materials, and equipment for the library.  The Friends typically meet in the library every other month from September through May.

Anyone interested in joining the Friends may print and fill out a Friends of the Library Membership Form.  Annual dues for membership are currently $5 to be paid with the completed membership form.  Please return this form and the associated dues to the library to the attention of Bonnie Coleman, Friends Liaison.
