Friends of the Loudonville Library

The Friends of the Loudonville Public Library was established in May 1972 by Dr. L. Eugene Byers who was then president of the Loudonville Public Library Board of Trustees. Originally, the Friends group was centered on finding a permanent home for the library.

Currently, the Friends organization raises money through fundraisers such as musical programs, bake sales, luncheons, and book sales.

Anyone interested in joining the Friends may contact the library staff and receive a membership application. The Friends have a new membership drive during the Loudonville Street Fair.

All monies raised by the Friends help to support Library programs and materials.
